Nvidia GeForce Experience Shadowplay recordings can sometimes record with stuttering audio. There are a number of reason that can cause this, however typically it is caused due to your audio output device. GeForce Experience runs into issues when working with specific drivers and audio outputs which cause the stuttering audio when recording. Fortunately Nvidia has released a fix to the stuttering audio problem. Turning on experimental features through the GeForce Experience app will fix the issue. One of the experimental features is a hotfix that corrects the audio recording issue, so there is no glitching or stuttering. Before enabling the Nvidia experimental features you will first need to close your game. Once enabled an update may begin to install the features that will correct your glitching audio. After the update has finished your shadowplay audio should no longer be stuttering in recordings. Hey dudes here is a method for if all else fails with your audio being badly desynced in Sony vegas when recording with Shadowplay Nvidia capture software! PLEASE READ THIS: Look at the bottom right corner of the adobe premier, and you will see a blue bar. Wait for it to completely fill, and it should allow you to hear all the audio channels. This however, will still not allow you to hear your desktop audio in the original files, due to how Nvidia Geforce work. You MAY still need to separate the audio channels for them to load. A tutorial that fixes the audio bug (no sound) from the new shadow play feature "separate tracks".

This video will show you how to extract the audio from videos recorded via ShadowPlay / Share, how to fix their AV-desync and how to remove the buzzing from your mic. I hope this helps you, going further down the description you'll find timestamps, links, a written solution in short and a template. Timestamps : 0:42 - 2:56 extracting audio command is : ffmpeg -i inputfile -map 0:a:0 -c:a copy audiooutput1 -map 0:a:1 -c:a copy audiooutput2 ATTENTION Don't use wav/mp3 as filetype like I did, the encoded audio will be shorter than the original. To prevent that I edited this command ( -c:a copy copies the audiocodec ). ShadowPlay uses aac as audiocodec. 3:32 - 3:54 removing buzzing in Premiere Pro right click the audio, select audiochannels and use the left stream for the right channel 3:54 - 4:08 removing buzzing in Vegas Pro right click the audio, select channels and left only 4:08 - 4:22 removing buzzing in Audacity right click the left drop down, split stereo tracks, mute the bad one, make the good one mono 4:28 - end proof the buzzing-removal works inbetween these are things like disclaimers. Please keep in mind that you also have the choice to roll back to an older version of GFE, which will most likely fix the mic-buzzing. ( ffmpeg is not required, it's just what I use ) To remove the mic-buzzing copy the left channel onto the right ( and switch the audio to mono ). To fix the AV-desync encode your audio and use it. You might need to encode your video aswell, because encoding only the audio doesn't work every time. I'm using ffmpeg for this too. If that is NOT working, you can encode your audio and video into the same file and then extract the audiolayers from the new file afterwards. You can do this by repeating the -map command for every stream ( 0:v:0, 0:a:0 and 0:a:1 ) and specifying only one output file after these three commands. I kept running into a problem in DaVinci Resolve where an imported clips audio would be out of sync at the end of the video. After playing around this is the solution I found for my particular issue. A short guide on how to resolve the issue of the video being out of sync with the audio when you import NVIDIA shadowplay footage to Adobe Premiere. A text guide of the guide can be found here: 🤍 You can download Handbrake from here: 🤍 You are probably aware of NVIDIA’s Shadow play technology. ShadowPlay is a hardware accelerated screen recording utility for Windows PCs using GeForce GPUs, made by Nvidia Corp as part of its Geforce Experience software. Basically, it results in little to no frame loss when recording footage from your games. If you edit your game footage, then it is likely you use Adobe Premiere to do so – it being one of the most powerful and easy to learn video editing programs available. Now Premiere has this funny issue, where it cant handle variable frame rates in videos, which is exactly what Shadowplay has. It results in the audio and video being out of sync when you import the footage to Premiere – the longer the video, the worse the problem. There is a way to fix this, using a program called Handbreak. This is extremely annoying, but dont stress….it can be fixed! It just requires one additional step using a third party program called “HandBrake”. So what we need to do is change the variable frame rate, to a constant frame rate so that Premiere can handle it. So lets take a look at the steps we need to take to fix the problem. You can download Handbrake from this website 🤍 . Download the version that suits your operating system. Once you have downloaded it, install it! Next we need to choose our source files. See the image below, you can either import a single file by clicking “Open File” or import multiple source files by “Open Folder”. Choose the file or folder you want to import, then click “Open”. A message will come up telling you its importing the file. Once this disappears we can move on with the next step. Under the section of th eprogram labeld “Output Settings” there are multiple tabs. You can adjust most of the settings that you see fit, but the tab that matters when it comes to fixing your audio/video sync issues is the “video” tab. The most important setting that will fix the problem is the “Framerate (FPS)” settings. Make sure you select “Constant Framerate”. You can then select the frames per second (FPS) that you want the video to be encoded at. Most of my footage is over 60 FPS so I choose 60. Then we want to set the “Quality” setting, if you want high definition footage, then I suggest setting it to 23. But you can play around with this. Lastly is the “H.264 Profile”. This isnt super important, but I set this to “High” to get the best quality available. Above the output settings is the “Destination Field”. Click “Browse” and choose where you want the output file to be saved to. You can also set the file name it will use. If you are only doing a single file, you can simply click “Start” on the menu bar. If you want to encode multiple files, then use the “Add to Queue” button – its pretty self explanatory. You can even set it to shutdown when its finished encoding, or save a profile for future use so the settings are all in there for you. And you are all done! Hey there guys! Recently when I have been going to edit my videos in Vegas Pro I am not able to synchronize my audio to the game for whatever reason. After searching the internet for quite some time, I finally found the solution!!! Simply rename the file to .dif If you are unsure that the file will work, make a copy of it first before changing the name!!!!!!!!!! Hope this helps anyone with the same problem I have been experiencing!
