Able to be used as a hand held camera, or a drone with some great features, the PowerEgg X is an awesome little drone. The Wizard Kit allow users to fly in the rain. It performs well in harsh environments. The PowerEgg X can fly in rain and take off and land on water. It is ideal for marine aerial photography and rescue investigations, and the PFS tension release makes it ideal for fishing up to 5 hooks. In Drone Mode, the PowerEgg X is a high-performance drone.It is suitable for highly dynamic aerial photography thanks to its 4K/60fps camera and triaxial mechanical gimbal. The user can control real-time 1080P image transmission within a distance of 6KM(FCC). It has a maximum wind speed resistance of up to 35 kph so that it can stably fly in coastal or windy conditions. The PowerEgg X has a flight time of up to 30 minutes. AUTONOMOUS PERSONAL AI CAMERA The PowerEgg X features strong face recognition capabilities. Its face recognition accuracy is continuously improved through deep learning training to follow the object when taking a photo or recording a video. FINALLY a good drone that you that isn't going to end up on the bottom of the ocean! For us guys flying drones from boats the whole business of getting aerial footage can become an expensive and nerve wracking nightmare... well not anymore! I've lost four DJI drones to the bottom of the ocean so far, one because a super yacht had a jammer to stop paparazzi snooping on VIP's ( I wasn't! I was filming the classic yacht racing off Monty Carlo) One had a battery fault and performed a perfect auto landing 100 yards behind the boat and sank as we sailed away! One inexplicably lost control and ditched and one was a bad take off from me while sailing single handed, I clipped the solar arch. All of these resulted in the loss of a drone and all would have been absolutely fine if I had been flying a Power Egg X. I would simply have gone back and picked up the floating drone. I've had a waterproof drone before, the Swellpro Splash drone, but this was an expensive failure. So I'm very happy to report the Power Eggs is the first usable waterproof drone I've flown and I'm looking forward to an enjoyable seasons flying from the boat instead of dreading losing another expensive piece of machinery every time I want a shot of us sailing from the air. In this episode I update the firmware in the PowerEgg-X and take it out for a test flight. There just happens to be a bit of a snowstorm happening at the same time. I discovered that the firmware update did something to the IMU and I had to recalibrate it. All works great now. I've seen the Swell Waterproof drone at previous show, but this is the first time I've seen a live demo of a flying drone under a waterfall. PowerVision came out this year with a showstopper of a demo as they flew the new PowerEggX under running water.
